What we actually do

We analyzed over 1 million Amazon bestsellers: their ratings, review counts, category rankings, and pricing. Every recommendation on this site is backed by that data. When we say something is the “best in its category,” we mean it literally outranks thousands of alternatives in verified customer reviews and sales.

But data only gets you so far. We also buy products, test them in our own homes, and tell you what we actually think. The good, the bad, and the “honestly, just save your money.”

How we make money (and why it doesn’t matter)

We earn commissions through Amazon Associates when you buy something through our links. That’s how we keep the lights on. But here’s the thing: it never influences what we recommend. A commission on a product you return is worth nothing. A reader who trusts us and comes back is worth everything.

If we think a product isn’t worth your money, we’ll say so. If there’s a better deal somewhere else, we’ll point you there. Our job is to help you make a good buying decision, not to push you toward the highest commission.
